This
year the kids were able to trunk/trick or treat twice.
We
went to my Mom’s church the week before Halloween to trunk-or-treat. They had a
chili dinner, carnival games, a haunted house, and trunk-or-treating. Aaron found plenty of friends from school and
from the neighborhood, so he was happy. The littles enjoyed seeing everyone in
their costumes. This was Sarah and Asher’s first time trunk-or-treating. They
did great even though we had to say trunk-or-treat and thank you for them!
The
next week we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We made it half a
street and then came home. They were done…and so were we. Granny and I helped
the kids get to the door, and Pappy strolled them around house to house in
their choo-choo train.
The
kids were so excited about all the candy they got. All four kids each filled up
a Gallon size Ziploc bag. I’d said they made out! Aaron was Hulk, James was
Captain America, Asher was Spiderman, and Sarah was Wonder Woman.
