Carving Pumpkins

It was so neat to see the kids carve pumpkins with Granny. They each had different ways of enjoying the experience.

Aaron drafted the pumpkin faces I was to carve out. He really enjoyed making each one different and exciting for his younger siblings. James was a big part of helping Aaron when it came to his pumpkin.

At first, James was disgusted at gutting the pumpkins. Once he realized he could use a spoon to get most of the work done, he was okay. His favorite part was designing with Aaron in regards to getting a face on his pumpkin to carve.

Asher sat back and took it all in on Granny's lap. At one point, he did put a spoon in the pumpkin to pull a few seeds out. He was happy as ever just to sit and watch everyone do the work.

Sarah was classic. That girl dug right in. Notice she even tried to eat what she was pulling out. She likes to experience it all with seeing, smelling, touching, and tasting!
