Christmas at Granny's and Pappy's

Now that we live 15 minutes or so from Granny and Pappy, there really isn't any reason to stay overnight.  There's just something special for the kids and the adults when you stay the night though...so we did!  The kids were great and we all enjoyed our visit. I always feel like that is judged by the amount of rest and sleep you get. We got lucky that everyone slept through the night!

While visiting, we had our Christmas with Granny and Pappy. Great Grandpa and Grandma visited from PA, so that was a treat. We are fortunate to see them several times throughout the year and are blessed to spend time with them. The kids enjoyed opening gifts from Granny and Pappy.  The twins were lucky to have James and Aaron there to help them open gifts.  It was nice to get away from our home and be spoiled. We are blessed to have such an amazing family close by.
