I know we are crazy for putting a
tree up with three little ones but how could you not? It is Christmas! Every
child should have the opportunity to experience a Christmas tree as well as
decorate it.
The kids loved their ornaments.
This year Aaron got Hulk and a Cub Scout ornament. James got Captain America
and a dump truck ornament. Asher got Spiderman and a swimming ornament. Sarah
got Wonder Woman and a swimming ornament. Aaron and James hung their ornaments
on their own. Asher and Sarah required our help. All four of them found great
homes on the tree for them. Aaron, James, and I decorated the rest after the
twins went down for bed. We put a baby gate around the tree to prevent them from
climbing. They still like to touch. We are working on that with them, and since
they struggle (what toddler wouldn’t?), the bottom of the tree is bare. That is
fine with us. We love the tree and love sharing special moments with our
children.
