Christmas Eve

We had a blessed Christmas Eve. The kids enjoyed opening gifts from us. 

We spent most of the day as a family and then made our way to Granny and Pappy's for the evening. Granny and Pappy put together a Christmas scavenger hunt. We toured the land as each clue told a different part of the Christmas story. We ended the hunt with a gift. Granny and Pappy got them a Thomas the Train Set. After the hunt, we enjoyed a nice fire with s'mores. While driving home, we saw Santa in the sky with his reindeer. Aaron and James were thrilled. It was an adventure trying to put the two of them to bed. They knew Santa was close and wanted to stay up to see him. We worked hard to convince them that Santa wouldn't come if they weren't asleep.
