It's been 1 Month

This post is to update you on The Schutz Family and post a bunch of random pictures from our month.  March was a time for us to get used to being a family of six.  We are still trying to figure things out but are having fun doing it.  Not only did we have twins, but we decided that we needed to put our home up for sale. I know...we are crazy but I think this is a good time.  We plan to move into a bigger home closer to my parents.

This month, James decided that he wanted to be an overachiever.  He currently has 8 teeth coming in.  Poor guy.  It has been rough for him (and us!).  James is still our happy guy.  That smile shines through as much as it can.  James also got tubes for his ears.  Too many ear infections.  I'm not sure of the exact count but too many since December.  His ears seem to be doing well and we are hoping this takes care of the number of ear infections he has had.  James also doesn't do well with antibiotics.  He is allergic to Amoxicillin and the other meds out there bother his stomach.  I can't begin to tell you how many crib sheets we have had to change due to vomit and diarrhea.  James still isn't talking much.  When he wants to, he can say momma and can meow.  That is pretty much it for now.  He understands a lot though.  Once he starts talking, I believe it will be an explosion of words! James loves the babies.  He loves to point at them.  His favorite thing to do is steal their pacifiers and rock them.

Aaron is doing well and continues to enjoy school.  He asks a lot of questions about Kindergarten.  I am happy for him.  I think he is looking forward to playing on the playground and meeting new friends.  We hope to have our new home before school starts.  He is getting to be the tablet pro.  I can't even help him with the games he plays when he gets stuck.  He has passed me in tablet skills. Aaron is an awesome big brother.  He is the opposite of James.  Aaron likes to find their pacifiers that have been stolen by James and give them back to the twins.  He also likes to hold and feed them.  Aaron loves to entertain and play with James.  That helps when we are feeding the twins.  Aaron spent Spring Break with his cousins in Tyler.  He had a blast!

The twins are doing well.  They spent most of the month sleeping and eating.  We are looking forward to April when hopefully they'll be awake a little more so we can enjoy their beautiful blue eyes! The twins enjoy being close to each other. When either or both of them get upset, we put them together and they settle down immediately.  It is precious.  We are so happy to have 4 children.  It has been a long road.  A year or so after having Aaron, we were told we would probably not have any more kids.  Boy was that doctor wrong!  The pictures below are the best of our month.  We had lots of visitors and our grateful for that.
