Easter Weekend





Our Easter weekend was fun.  Saturday we had an Egg Hunt in our backyard.  Nathan hid the eggs. He divided the yard in half.  One half was for James.  The eggs were easy to find.  The other half was for Aaron.  The eggs were a little harder to find.  Aaron found this very unfair and was angry at first.  For some reason, Aaron just doesn't seem to understand that he is older.  We tried explaining why James didn't have his eggs hidden like him, but there was no use.  He eventually came around and enjoyed the hunt but still spent the day talking about how unfair Daddy was. Nathan and I just giggled throughout the day.  Kids can be so silly!

 Later that afternoon, Aaron and I made Easter Jell-O Jigglers.  An Easter tradition.  We do this instead of eggs since Granny dyes eggs with the boys.  Aaron is getting so good at the Jigglers.  I just boil the hot water for him.  He is good to go and takes care of the rest.

 Easter morning was exciting getting to see what was in our baskets.  Lots of candy, books, and more candy.  The Easter Bunny knows this family well. WE LOVE CANDY!!!

That evening, Granny and Pappy came over.  As always, Pappy put together the Easter scavenger hunt.  Fun was had by all.  It is always nice to celebrate holidays with family.
