Sandy Lake

With the weather as cool as it was, we were able to enjoy a Saturday at Sandy Lake.  It was so crowded and we were worried about Aaron since crowds = meltdown.  He was great though.  We kept him focused on the rides and didn’t stay too long. Nathan and I took turns riding with him while one of us watched James.  The roller coaster ride, Little Dipper, almost killed me!!!  It was so jerky.  Thank goodness I didn’t lose my breakfast.  Aaron thought it was an awesome ride and wanted to ride again.  NO WAY!!! 

This place is 5 miles or so from our house and pretty inexpensive.  We’ve gone one other time and both visits have been wonderful.  It is a nice family owned place. As you can see, James enjoyed a little nap and some stroller time.  We were trying to keep his skin from the sun as much as we could.  When he was awake, he enjoyed the bright colors of the rides and also enjoyed watching his big brother ride.
