This month, James got two teeth. The first tooth was felt on July 9th but was not visible until July 11th. What a wonderful birthday gift for Aaron. The second tooth came a few days later.
James has learned to sit up. He can't get in the position on his own, but if you sit him up, he will stay there. He enjoys being in this position. James has gotten a little too risky with the rolling over. All of his attempts, except for one at falling off the bed, have failed. YES!! He did fall of the bed and it was not a wonderful or proud moment for any of us since we were all in the room when it happened. He was just too fast for us.
Now we move to the stage of crawling. James can scoot but no crawling yet. I would like to say that he can take his time but I'm afraid his big brother is going to convince him that being mobile is the way to go. Our house is still not child-proofed. I'm sure we will get there eventually. Like I said, life with two little ones has been a bit hectic.
James loves playing with his toys. He loves to figure out how things move or make noise. He likes the color red. Any toy that is red will be pulled or played with first. He also enjoys playing anything that Aaron is playing. Aaron doesn't seem to mind entertaining him. We are glad they are friends.
James loves fresh frozen fruit. After dinner, we give him the fruit of the day in his mesh baby feeder. He loves it (his teeth probably do too). So far James has had blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and apricots.
