Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa, Aaron and I got to go to the fair together.
It was a special day for us. We started the morning by riding the Dart (city train transportation) to the fair. It is a much easier and safer option.
Once there, we got down to business and explored the auto buildings. Aaron's favorite was the neon green car.
After awhile, we decided to take a break from the vehicles and walk through a Redwood Trunk house. Aaron was amazed and wondered how it was possible. They had videos on how but Aaron was ready to move on and eat!
We decided to get down to business and enjoy a famous Texas corn dog. Yummy!
After lunch, we went to the petting zoo. We enjoyed feeding and petting all the animals. The baby piglets were awesome. We didn't get to feed them but we enjoyed watching them.
Next to the petting zoo, was the Texas Stampede Show. So there we went! We both loved watching the show especially the lassoing.
Once that was over, Aaron was ready for rides and arcades. We spent the afternoon at the midway and also visited the Greenhouse.
We ended the afternoon taking pictures with Big Tex while we enjoyed some cotton candy.
We walked through another auto building on our walk out.
Tired as ever, we got back on the Dart and enjoyed the ride home. We had a good day together!!
