Another Successful Swim Semester!!!

The twins made it through their 1st semester of swim class. They did great! We were so incredibly proud of them. I have to give kudos to my mom for being the extra parent in the pool. Each water baby has to have an adult swimmer. My mom took on the role and did great!  Sarah and Asher learned how to kick and hold their breath under the water for 10 seconds. They enjoyed interacting with the other kids in the pool. Sarah loved the Cuckoo Clock Song. Asher loved singing the Kids in the Pool. Both kids will move to the next class where we are no longer in the pool with them.

James did great and really enjoyed his teacher Mr. Armando. We are so happy that he'll be teaching James again in the Spring as he advances to the next level. Mr. Armando noticed how advanced James was in the water and encouraged him to challenge himself. James was 2 when he started the semester and wasn't old enough to join the 3 year olds. After a conversation with the swim school, it was decided that the advanced 2 year old class would be to easy for James. It was discussed that he may struggle in the 3 year old class, but it was worth a try. James did an amazing job and took on the challenge with no troubles. It is a thrill to see him swim and be so comfortable in the water!

Aaron has been in swim school for years. He knows how to swim and is strong swimmer. At this point, he is just learning different strokes, working on speed, and refining his swim skills. The backstroke was a huge focus and strength for him this semester! He can swim faster than me now. So jealous but so proud of him. Aaron adored his teacher, Miss Megan, and we are happy to have her teach him again for the Spring Semester as he advances to the next class.
