Dallas Arboretum with Aaron

We went to the arboretum in October with Grandma and Grandpa. Aaron wasn’t able to join us since he was in school. Since Granny really wanted to go, I decided a few weeks later, we would go again making sure they both could go. We did have to pull Aaron out of school for the day. He didn’t seem to have a problem with that!

On Tuesdays they have face painting and a petting zoo for the kids. Poor Asher was terrified to get his face painted, so if you look closely at his arm in some of the photos, you’ll see a little pumpkin. He was so proud of that little pumpkin.  Aaron, James, and Sarah had no fear getting their faces painted. Aaron, who was painted as Frankenstein, walked around and scared as many folks as he could. Sarah was a bit better for pictures then our last arboretum visit but still had an attitude for the camera. James was painted as Hulk, and did the best he could to play the hulk roll…it really wasn’t difficult for him. 2.5 years old is a good hulk age!

We took a golf cart tour. The arboretum is such a huge place, and I can’t wait to go back with the kids and enjoy the children’s part of the park. Granny has a membership, so that makes it even better for the wallet!
