Granny turns 50!!!

I honestly did not know my mother was turning 50.  I guess I didn't sit down to do the math.  I totally thought she was 49.  I truly believe she spent the year hypnotizing us into believing she was turning 49 because I would have totally embarrassed her with the biggest celebration ever!  How did we end up celebrating?  We went to Cici's, then came home, had bananas foster, and opened gifts.  She said it was a perfect evening!  Like I said, she doesn't like big surprises or big celebrations so I believe it when she says it was a perfect evening.
