Trying out Basketball

Basketball has been a good sport for Aaron. He is tall and basketball tends to favor folks who are tall. Aaron hasn't figured out, or at least with confidence, why being tall works in his favor, but he will learn. Aaron plays through Upwards at the Baptist Church in Farmersville. It is a great program. The boys are encouraged to memorize scripture versus throughout the season that teach Christ-like behavior while on the court. Each week they receive stars for their performance on the court. Aaron enjoys this part of hearing what the coach has to say about his playing. We enjoy getting to see him play and improve each week.
