Nathan and I are big fans of Texas and love to see what the state has to offer. We had a fun weekend. Benjamin came up with the idea of the three of us going somewhere since he had the weekend off from weddings. I asked Mom and Dad if they would watch Aaron, and they were happy to!
We started our adventure on Friday night. We drove to Mt. Pleasant. Once we arrived, we met Benjamin's friend, Andrew. We enjoyed a nice dinner at a local Italian restaurant and then made our way to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where Benjamin played the pipe organ.
The next morning we drove to Pittsburg, TX which was 10-15 miles away from Mt. Pleasant. We started our day at First United Methodist Church where Benjamin played another pipe organ.
We went to one more church with a pipe organ before exploring the little town of Pittsburg. It was an Episcopal church. We had the pleasure to hear Benjamin play on 3 pipe organs on this trip. He is very talented.
The three of us spent the rest of our time exploring the small town of Pittsburg. We enjoyed our stay and learned a lot about the history of this town. We even enjoyed a delicious meal at the hot link restaurant.
